Mutter Natur ist eine kreative Künstlerin und verdient unseren größten Respekt. Genau hinsehen ist dazu der erste Schritt, Zusammenhänge begreifen, der zweite. In meinem kleinen Garten finden daher alle ihren Platz, egal ob Biene oder Blume, Igel oder Vogel. Natur zu beobachten und dabei Wundervolles zu entdecken, inspiriert mich immer wieder neu.

Neben der Liebe zu den Blumen und zum Garten ist Blumenfotografie ist meine zweite Leidenschaft. Ich gehöre zu den Kreativen, die ihre Talente immer wieder anders ausleben: ich texte und fotografiere. Mit erquicklichen Berührungspunkten beiderseits: Produktfotografie, Blumenfotografie und Werbetext ergänzen sich nämlich vortrefflich.

Die Königsdisziplin ist und bleibt für mich jedoch die Blumenfotografie: Blumen so zu zeigen, wie sie sind, ist jedes Mals aufs Neue eine Herausforderung. Damit die Schönheit einer Akelei neben einer prächtigen Pfingstrose bestehen kann und dabei die Persönlichkeit jeder einzelnen Blume zum Vorschein kommt.

Auch Blumen haben Persönlichkeit und verdienen Respekt 

“Mein Blumenbild des Tages” zeigt und erzählt von Blumen, so wie ich sie sehe. Fast alle hier gezeigten Blumen wachsen in meinem Blumengarten am Südhang des Lindelbergs bei Igensdorf. Sie gehören so zu meinem Leben lange bevor sie zum Fotomodell und zu “Mein Blumenbild des Tages” werden.

Online seit 2005

“Mein Blumenbild des Tages” existiert bereits seit 2005. Anfangs war es ein reines Fotoblog – fast ohne Text. Doch dann wollten immer mehr Besucher wissen, woher ich denn all die schönen Blumen zum Fotografieren nehme. Andere Leser hakten nach, um zu erfahren, wie ich meine Blumen im Garten pflege. So entstand das Foto-Gartenblog “Mein Blumenbild des Tages”.
